Government Recognizes Jiuwu Hi-Tech Project After Cutting Construction Times by Half

Rencently, Jiuwu Hi-Tech was commended in an offical notice issued by Yutai County, Shandong Province, for its participation in the construction of the Changqing Industrial Park Wastewater Treatment Plant. During the project, the team faced multiple challenges, including a tight schedule, difficult construction conditions, and frequent extreme weather. Adhering to a professional and meticulous approach, the Jiuwu team collaborated efficiently with all parties involved to overcome these difficulties, ultimately completing the critical milestone for effluent discharge. With its technical expertise, relentless speed, and solid capabilities, Jiuwu Hi-Tech earned recognition from competent authorities and clients.

Full-Chain Excellence in Delivering the Yutai Project

The Changqing Industrial Parks Wastewater Treatment Plant (an EPC project) serves as the core environmental facility for the supporting Lyocell fiber production project. Located within the park, its first phase is designed to treat 10,000 cubic meters of wastewater per day. The plant employs a combination of membrane-based processes and evaporation-crystalization techonlogy to treat industrial wastewater. The final treated effluent discharges into the Yuqing River.

In this project, Jiuwu Hi-Tech was entrusted with full-chain responsibilities encompassing process package design, equipment supply, on-site installation, system commissioning, and operations & maintenance. Given the project's strategic importance and implementation complexity, the company assembled a dedicated task force of 10 veteran experts from desgin, operations, commercial, and other key functions. This represented a substantial resource commitment and a boost in team capability, compared to the standard 4-person team for conventional projects. "To ensure on-schedule delivery, we formed a dedicated task force by pooling our core talent. This concentration of premium resources enabled us to overcome implementation challenges and secure the project's high-quality completion." Said the project manager.

Setting the Pace in Performance, Refining Timelines for Eco-Engineering

According to the project manager, the team faced multiple challenges from the outset: a tight schedule, demanding tasks, and high technical thresholds. Since commencing work on-site last September, they have adhered to the core principles of "efficient collaboration and meticulous execution," tackling every task with an unwavering sense of urgency. At that time, the site was still in its foundational preparation phase. The significant temperature swings between early autumn mornings and evenings posed an additional challenge, and facilities in the temporary work areas were not fully equipped. Working through wind and sun became the norm, yet none of this deterred the team's determined progress.

To secure critical construction milestones, the team voluntarily gave up their National Day holiday reunion time and sacrificed all weekends, dedicating their full energy to the project. "Ever since we arrived on site, long days have become our routine," one team member shared. Each day began shortly after 7 a.m., with everyone quickly settling into work mode. The lunch break was limited to a brief hour for a simple meal and a short rest before immediately returning to their posts. As night fell, the site remained illuminated, with work regularly continuing past 9 p.m. and often late into the night until the day's objectives were met. Despite the prolonged intensity, no one complained or shied away from the challenge.

Even amidst such a demanding pace, the team maintained a relentless pursuit of detail in their work. "A clean and orderly site is the foundation for both safety and efficiency. No matter how busy or tired we are, we never compromise on this," the staff emphasized. Regardless of how late or exhausting the day was, the team meticulously cleared the work areas, promptly removed construction waste, and cleaned equipment, ensuring no debris accumulated on the ground and no dust contaminated the workshops. This unwavering discipline and commitment, sustained under tough conditions, not only guaranteed the project's safe and orderly progress but also embodied the Jiuwu spirit of tackling challenges head-on and striving for excellence.

With close cooperation of the Jiuwu Hi-Tech team and its sister companies, the equipment installation and commissioning were completed efficiently in just three months. On December 30, the project successfully began receiving and treating external wastewater from Lyocell fiber production line, fulfilling the key milestone commitment as promised. "Under normal circumstances, the construction period of this project would be at least six months. But this time, thanks to the close cooperation of all parties, we accomplished the task in less than 100 days."

This efficient project delivery not only demonstrates Jiuwu Hi-Tech's rapid-response mechanisms in the environmental engineering sector but, more importantly, highlights its robust capabilities built upon years of focused expertise in membrane separation technology and superior project management.

Process-Wide Optimization of Industrial Wastewater Treatment for Environmental and Cost Benefit

This project adopts a zero-discharge process, with a current design capacity of 10,000 m³/d. The main effluent indicators meet the Class III standard of the "Surface Water Environmental Quality Standard" (GB3838-2002), with total salt content ≤1500mg/L and sulfate content ≤350mg/L. The project discharges impurities and sludge, and produces by-products such as sodium sulfate and sodium chloride. It includes a membrane separation system, an evaporation crystallization system, and a sludge treatment system. The main advantages of this process are:

  • The membrane separation + evaporation crystallization + sludge treatment process enables the resource reuse of salts in wastewater, reducing waste salt disposal costs and lowering operating costs.

  • The ultrafiltration section uses high-packing column ceramic membranes, which reduces the frequency of membrane replacement compared to traditional organic membranes, lowering enterprise costs and reducing environmental pollution from waste membrane materials.

  • The NF (Non-Fluorescent Fluid) equipment treats sodium sulfate in wastewater, further realizing the resource reuse of wastewater, reducing operating costs, and offering low energy consumption and simple operation.

  • The sodium sulfate evaporation crystallization system uses a freeze crystallization process to produce sodium sulfate, offering advantages such as simple operation and stable product quality.

  • The sodium chloride evaporation crystallization system uses the MVR (Medium-Vacuum Reduction) process, which features low energy consumption, small footprint, high degree of automation and continuous operation, and low labor intensity.

  • The successful delivery and official commendation of the Yutai wastewater treatment project is yet another powerful testament to Jiuwu Hi-Tech's technological strength and contract fulfillment capabilities. As a leading enterprise in membrane separation technology, Jiuwu Hi-Tech has deep expertise in core areas such as industrial wastewater treatment and resource recycling, providing customized environmental protection solutions for numerous industrial projects with its independently developed technology system and full-chain service capabilities.

Looking ahead, Jiuwu Hi-Tech will remain committed to technological iteration and industry advancement. By leveraging more advanced membrane technologies and delivering enhanced engineering services, we will support a broader range of sectors in achieving the dual objectives of environmental compliance and resources circularity. In doing so, we aim to contribute enduring momentum to advancement of ecological civilization and high-quality sustainable development.
