What is the difference between ceramic membrane and organic membrane

Compared to organic membranes, traditional ceramic membranes indeed consume more electricity, mainly due to the higher power of the circulating pump. But currently, we have developed a high-packing density ceramic membrane with dead-end/micro-cross flow technology. And we select pumps with higher efficiency to reduce the installed power. Its operating energy consumption is now as low as that of organic membranes. In addition, ceramic membranes produce the most stable water among the mainstream technologies on the market. On average, actual operating costs of ceramic membrane are not much higher. The shutdown problems caused by frequent cleaning are not shown in the organic membrane solutions.
