Jiuwu Hi-Tech: 2025 Year in Review

On this final day of 2025, as we look back on a year filled with accomplishments, the resolute strides of national development and the pulse of national rejuvenation in our era are vividly clear. This year witnessed the grand commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War. The Fujian, China’s first electromagnetic aircraft carrier, officially entered service, and the domestic animated film Ne Zha 2 surpassed 16 billion yuan in global box office revenue, demonstrating both national strength and cultural vitality.

As a leading enterprise in the ceramic membrane sector of China's membrane industry, Jiuwu Hi-Tech has evolved from a "Dual Engines" to a "Three Pillars" model in 2025. With its strong progress in new materials, integrated solutions, and production services, Jiuwu Hi-Tech drives development through innovation, leads change through technology, and fulfills its mission with responsibility. Here, let's review our journey and achievements in 2025.

Driven by material research and development innovation, solidifying Jiuwu's core strength

Jiuwu Hi-Tech is driving high-quality development across multiple fields through "high-intensity innovation." It has built a complete "materials-process-equipment" solution chain, leveraging its national-level R&D platform and abundant patent achievements to steadily advance towards becoming a globally leading membrane separation technology service provider and new material supplier.


To date, the company has 8 national and provincial-level enterprise R&D platforms, including the National High-Performance Membrane Materials Innovation Center. In 2025, Jiuwu Hi-Tech applied for a total of 31 patents, including 22 invention patents and 9 utility model patents; and was granted 13 patents, including 5 invention patents and 8 utility model patents.


Ceramic Membranes

Based on our conventional ceramic membrane products, we have developed a 25 m² high-packing-density columnar ceramic membrane as well as a silicon carbide (SiC) ceramic membrane. A single high-packing-density ceramic membrane provides a filtration area equivalent to that of 115 conventional membranes, with an operational flux ranging from 150 to 250 L/(m²·h). The SiC ceramic membrane has completed production line setup and process validation, capable of withstanding temperatures from -20 °C to 1000 °C, pH levels from 0 to 14, and even hydrofluoric acid environments. Project data feedback has been positive, and batch sales have been achieved.

Organic Membranes

Focusing on the development of high-value specialty products and the standardization of quality enhancement, the acid-resistant membrane project has been successfully commercialized. Both non-woven tubular membranes and sintered tubular membranes have secured multiple orders, leading to the establishment of several demonstration projects. Moving forward, R&D efforts will continue to center on specialty organic membranes with acid and alkali resistance.

Adsorbents

Significant achievements have been made in the adsorbent sector: the spherical aluminum-based lithium adsorbent developed for high lithium concentration salt lake brines has increased adsorption capacity by over 20%; The titanium-based adsorbent has been tested in Xizang Salt Lake Project for more than two months, with stable adsorption capacity and selectivity, 50% higher than the adsorption capacity of commercial competitors, while saving more than 20% in acid consumption.


Jiuwu Hi-Tech is one of the few domestic companies that has mastered the entire process of lithium extraction from salt lakes using the "adsorption + membrane" method. In July 2025, its lithium adsorbent material synthesis technology and salt lake lithium extraction process integration technology were included in China's "Catalogue of Technologies Prohibited and Restricted from Export" by the Ministry of Commerce, breaking the foreign "Stranglehold" monopoly of ceramic membrane technology and achieving "counter-stranglehold" of salt lake lithium extraction technology.

Solid-State Electrolyte

LLZO and LATP oxide solid electrolyte products have been recognized by many downstream enterprises, and their powder performance has reached the mainstream level in the industry. Jiuwu has successfully supplied multiple batches to leading domestic battery cell enterprises, marking an important step for the company from R&D to industrialization in the field of solid-state electrolytes.

Flourishing Accross Applications, Enabling Green Industry Development

In the new materials sector, Jiuwu Hi-Tech breaks down trust  international market barriers through customized solutions and agile response mechanisms. Its global layout closely follows the "dual carbon" policy and the pain points of water resources crisis, forming synergistic advantages of technology, service, and brand in new energy services, industrial fluid separation, water treatment and resource utilization, and industrial waste acid resource utilization. In the future, it is expected to continue to increase the penetration rate in emerging markets and lead the global export of Chinese membrane technology.

New Engergy Service

Orders for lithium adsorbents from Minmetals Salt Lake and Salt Lake Industry were delivered and successfully commissioned on the first attempt, verifyiing both production capacity and product quality. Additionally, we won the bid for the membrane integration section of the State Development & Investment Corporation Xinjiang Lithium Industry Salt Lake Lithium Extraction Expansion Project, completed the guidance operation contract and successfully handed it over, and its business model was recognized by customers.

Industrial Fluid Separation

Deeply rooted in traditional sectors and focusing on core areas such as pharmaceutical fermentation and chlor-alkali chemicals, the company has won bids for several large-scale domestic and international projects, including amino acid membrane separation systems in Kazakhstan and acid-alkali resource utilization operation and maintenance services. Significant progress has also been made in expanding new applications in fields such as milk and sugar.

Water Treatment and Resource Utilization

We have a strong focus on the industrial park wastewater and zero-discharge market. We have secured numerous orders and established demonstration projects in chemical and dyeing industrial parks in Shandong, Henan, Xinjiang, and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps. We have also applied ceramic membranes and water purification technology to military water supply vehicles to support national defense.

Industrial Waste Acid Resource Utilization

We have developed multiple process packages for complex, high-concentration, and difficult-to-treat acid systems, which have been applied to projects such as waste acid purification and concentration in the titanium dioxide industry. We have signed acid water washing and reuse orders in Hubei and Sichuan, and have multiple projects in reserve in the fields of acid binding agents.

Accelerate the Expansion of Overseas Marktes

In 2025, Jiuwu Hi-Tech accelerated its international business layout. The chairman led a team to the UAE to conduct market research, engaging in in-depth exchanges with local government agencies and enterprises in areas such as seawater desalination. A delegation from DuPont Water Treatment visited Jiuwu, and the two sides held in-depth discussions on membrane technology research and development, market expansion, and other issues, signing a Memorandum of Understanding, marking a new stage of cooperation.

We also participated in major international exhibitions such as the Southeast Asian Pharmaceutical Ingredients Exhibition, showcasing our core technologies and solutions, attracting numerous international clients, fully demonstrating the strength of "Made in China," and helping the globalization of China's membrane technology.


Project Operation + R&D services

Build a Comprehensive Business System Covering the Entire Process

In 2025, Jiuwu Hi-Tech launched a strategic upgrade that integrates technology, services, and data in three dimensions, building a full-process business ecosystem and deeply exploring innovative paths for the deep integration of advanced manufacturing and modern service industries.

Driven by the synergistic integration of operations and R&D, we have built comprehensive, lifecycle-spanning service capabilities. We provide end-to-end solutions for clients—from top-level technical design to project implementation and operation—showcasing our formidable, integrated technological edge across the entire chain of “materials, processes, equipment, and engineering” in membrane separation and related advanced material applications.

This model not only ensured the stable and efficient performance of pilot-scale projects, but also enabled the Guangdong project to successfully complete installation and commissioning, officially entering a new phase of substantive operation. The Shanghai project is progressing steadily, with the membrane section having reached stable production standards, and the gypsum section having undergone renovations utilizing the existing space resources of the client's old plant, expected to be ready for production by the end of the year. The lithium extraction segment from salt lakes has achieved its annual operational targets. Leveraging its core professional technical services, the project helped clients achieve a smooth transition from commissioning and production to stable and high-yield production, demonstrating its core service value.

Cultural Renewal, Reaching New Heights

In 2025, Jiuwu Hi-Tech officially launched its corporate culture renewal project. This initiative aims to systematically review and comprehensively upgrade the core of our corporate culture, building a scientific and coherent cultural system that resonates with the company's development strategy. It provides solid cultural support and spiritual guidance for the company's steady and long-term growth.

Guided by this renewed culture, the company achieved remarkable results in brand communication and industry engagement in 2025: we showcased our technologies at premier domestic industry exhibitions such as the IE Expo in Shanghai and the Fermentation Exhibition in Jinan, and successfully hosted the 3rd (2025) Nanjing Brine Forum, deeply connecting industry resources and demonstrating our technological leadership. Our elevated brand influence attracted sustained attention from mainstream media. Throughout the year, we received extensive coverage from major municipal and provincial outlets in Nanjing and Jiangsu Province, were featured on the front page of Xinhua Daily, and our leadership was interviewed by CCTV's Finance Channel. This significantly enhanced our brand influence and industry voice.

On the practical front of building team cohesion and physical wellness, the annual Winter Long-Run event was held as scheduled, empowering employees to strengthen their willpower through exertion and build consensus by running side-by-side, integrating positive cultural values into daily life, and equipping them with robust health and full enthusiasm to meet new challenges.

2025 was also a year of abundant honors for Jiuwu Hi-Tech. Recognized for outstanding performance in technological innovation and industrial leadership, the company passed the review for the Sixth Batch of National Manufacturing Single Champion Enterprises. Jiuwu was awarded the 2025 "Jiangsu Province May 1st Labor Certificate", and Chairman & General Manager Jianbing Dang was honored as a "Nanjing Municipal Model Worker", reflecting high societal recognition for both the company and its employees.

The company’s achievement in “Key Separation Materials and Application Development for Lithium Extraction from Salt Lakes” was selected as one of the“Top Ten Sci-Tech Innovation Achievements by Nanjing Employees in 2025.”Additionally, its large-scale ceramic membrane material preparation and application technology for municipal drinking water (recognized as new technology/new product) and the complete set of equipment for titanium gypsum resource utilization (acknowledged as first-of-its-kind) were successfully included in the Jiangsu Provincial “Three Firsts and Two News” list. The inclusion of these two technologies marks authoritative recognition of the company's technological leadership and product innovation in the fields of high-end water treatment membrane materials and the resource utilization of industrial waste acid.
